A visionary leader, Tomasz Wentrys has over two decades of experience in the construction industry spanning from in-field craftsmanship and project management to estimating. He joined the construction industry as a Property Manager in Queens and rapidly advanced through a series of successful ventures as Chief Estimator and Project Manager to become a highly respected construction executive in the New York Metropolitan Area. Prior to launching Vernon, Tomasz served as Chief Construction Officer for a mid-sized NYC based general contracting firm, where he managed all aspects of the firm’s operations and spearheaded the company’s revenue growth by 1,000% during his tenure.

Tomasz holds a DOB Construction Superintendent License and has earned several prestigious certifications from New York University's School of Professional Studies with concentrations in Project Management.

A resident of Bronxville, NY, Tomasz enjoys spending free time taking day trips with his wife, daughter, and their toy poodle, Chase. He is a soccer enthusiast and lifelong fan of Italian Serie A club Juventus, longtime fan of Formula One, home chef, fine dining aficionado, and oenophile.

Adrian Nowak

Adrian Nowak has over a decade of experience in the construction industry. Before founding Vernon, he served as an executive for a mid-sized general contracting firm that he helped grow from a small business into a top contending general contractor in New York’s public work sector. Prior to his career in construction, Adrian spent time working at various reputable financial institutions with experience in mergers & acquisitions, equity research, and insurance.

Adrian earned his BA degree from Union College with a major in Economics. Adrian also holds a MS in Finance degree from Villanova University’s Villanova School of Business and a MS in Construction Management degree from NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate.

Adrian resides in Weehawken, NJ and is passionate about fitness and investing. Outside the office, he spends his free time weight training and watching sports.

John Poje

A success-driven construction executive, John Poje brings more than three decades of industry experience delivering high-profile projects along the East Coast, spanning from New York to Florida. John began his career as a Project Architect and quickly advanced into senior construction leadership roles, building a reputation for strategic project execution, strong client relationships, and operational excellence. Prior to joining Vernon, John served as an executive for a national design-build firm, where he played a key leadership role in delivering complex projects across multiple market sectors. Over the course of his career, John has overseen more than $1 Billion in completed construction work.

As Project Executive, John serves as the primary liaison between Vernon, clients, architects, specialty consultants, and key project stakeholders. He provides executive-level oversight throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment among all parties while driving schedule performance, quality standards, and successful project outcomes consistent with Vernon’s vision of Redefining Excellence.

John holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the New York Institute of Technology.

Eryk Dziedzic

Eryk Dziedzic is an executive level professional with over two decades of experience in financial analysis, computer science, data analytics, and applied informatics. Eryk has vast knowledge of construction financial operations including AP/AR, job cost accounting, payroll and cash flow management.

As Controller at Vernon, he plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s financial vision. In this capacity, he oversees the company’s in-house accounting and financial reporting procedures.

Walter Targonski

A well respected and prominent leader in the construction industry, Walter Targonski has over four decades of experience delivering high profile projects in New York City. Walter has extensive hands-on experience in a multitude of trades in all aspects of interior and exterior work. He has completed work for prominent private clients as well as government agencies such as DASNY, OGS, SUCF, DEP, DOE, SCA, SUNY, CUNY, NYCHH, DDC, NYCHA and many other notable municipalities.

As General Foreman at Vernon, Walter is responsible for direct supervision of all field construction personnel and coordination of manpower at each jobsite.

Arnold Elsner

Arnold Elsner has over four decades of experience in procurement, estimating, and preconstruction management throughout the New York City construction industry. Over the course of his career, he has built an extensive network of trusted subcontractors and suppliers, earning a reputation for his deep market knowledge and disciplined procurement strategy.

As Director of Procurement at Vernon, Arnold leads the firm’s procurement and subcontractor buyout efforts during preconstruction. He oversees subcontractor prequalification, bid solicitation, proposal leveling, contract negotiations, and award recommendations, working closely with Vernon’s estimating and project management teams to ensure the right trade partners are aligned with each project.

Arnold’s commitment to collaboration reflects Vernon’s belief that strong subcontractor partnerships are essential to delivering successful projects. His ability to build and maintain trusted industry relationships plays a key role in supporting Vernon’s continued growth and its mission of Redefining Excellence.
